Your Vote Matters

I won’t just show up. I want to represent my constituents so you have a voice in county issues.

I am committed to transparency when conducting the people’s business. You have a right to know what your local government is doing.

Truth matters. Your vote matters.

Meet Sandy

Sandy has been an Elburn resident for 20 years. She earned a bachelor degree in journalism from Roosevelt University and worked as a radio news anchor in Chicago, sharing the microphone with some of the top newscasters in the business.

As a former reporter, she asks questions. Lots of them. She tries to understand issues from all perspectives; to get all the facts. She also listens. Learning what issues are important to you in our community is what’s important to her, too.

After leaving broadcasting, she worked as a county employee at a forest preserve district, where she discovered a passion for the environment. She now works for a statewide conservation coalition, providing marketing and communications support while continuing to advocate for environmental issues.

Our current board member often doesn’t show up or votes “present.” She will show up and represent every constituent in the district and will fight for issues that are important to all.

She’s a proud Democrat, currently serving as communications director for Illinois Democratic Women and also as a precinct comitteeperson for Blackberry 4.

ENVIRONMENT

My first priority is the environment and protecting Kane County’s natural resources.

TAXES

Taxes are on everyone’s mind, but they are necessary to fund the services we all need.

NEW REVENUE SOURCES

We need to seek new sources of revenue and support renewable energy options.

Endorsement

We Can Lead Change is an active local grassroots organization that continues to energize our area

Endorsement

Very honored to have the support of my congressman, Bill Foster

Endorsement

I am grateful for the endorsement by our Kane County Board Chairwoman Corinne Pierog
